Performance, packaging and transportation of rolling bearings

1 Overview

bearings are the supporting elements of rotating shafts or movable parts of various machines, and they are also the supporting elements that rely on the rolling of rolling elements to rotate the host machine. Compared with sliding bearings, rolling bearings have many advantages. Therefore, although the application time of rolling bearings is later than that of sliding bearings, they have become the main support type of modern machinery. They are widely used and occupy the primary position in the bearing field

2. Structure and working principle of bearing

rolling bearings are usually composed of four main parts: outer ring, inner ring, rolling element and retainer. There are also a few structures without inner ring or outer ring or no ferrule, which are composed of three parts or two parts

ring is also called seat ring, which is divided into inner ring and outer ring. Thrust bearing is tight ring and movable ring. There are raceways (grooves) on the inner circle surface of the inner ring and the inner circle surface of the outer ring of the ball bearing, which act as guide wheels to limit the lateral movement of the rolling element. At the same time, they also increase the contact surface between the rolling element and the ring and reduce the contact stress

rolling element is a part to ensure rolling friction between inner and outer rings of bearing. Its shape, size and quantity directly affect the load capacity and service performance of rolling bearing

the purpose of the cage is to keep the adjacent rolling elements from being directly connected. If there is a need for contact, it can ensure the flexible rotation of the bearing. For bearings of various structures, cages of various structural types and materials shall be used to meet the requirements

bearings are divided into ten types according to the load direction and the type of rolling elements they can bear:

(1) single row radial ball bearings (deep groove ball bearings)

(2) centripetal spherical ball bearing (self-aligning ball bearing)

(3) centripetal fatigue test refers to (1) short cylindrical roller bearing whose metal material is measured by metal material test

(4) radial spherical roller bearing

(5) centripetal long cylindrical roller bearing and needle roller bearing

(6) centripetal spiral roller bearing

(7) centripetal thrust ball bearing (angular contact ball bearing)

(8) tapered roller bearing

(9) thrust ball bearing

(10) thrust roller bearing

the tolerance grade code of high-tech enterprises with the largest bearing range and the highest market share is represented by Latin Letters B, C, D, e, (Ex) and G, and qei, etc. from high to low, indicate the tolerance grade. Class G can generally be omitted from the bearing code, but it shall not be omitted when there is a code indicating the bearing clearance group
